Gaucho Insecticide for Seed Corn Production

The Illinois Department of Agriculture has declared a crisis exemption under Section 18 of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act for the use of Gaucho 480 Flowable Insecticide (imidacloprid) to control Stewart's wilt in inbred corn in Illinois. The effective dates are from 12:01 a.m., April 10, to 11:59 p.m., April 25, 1998. The application rate shall be 8 to 16 fluid ounces per hundredweight of seed prior to planting.
