Dates of the 1998 Illinois Crop Protection Workshop

The 24th annual Illinois Crop Protection Workshop will be March 3 and 4, 1998. Specialized, classroom-style sessions will be offered in crop production and development, entomology, plant pathology, and weed science. The instructors will provide "hands-on" materials in settings designed to promote as much interaction with participants as possible.

In addition to the University of Illinois staff members, instructors from several other universities throughout the Midwest typically take part in the workshop. The workshop will be approved by the Illinois Certified Crop Adviser Program and will be assigned the appropriate credits in a number of different specialty areas. The 2-day conference is designed to present useful material for crop consultants, agronomists, agrichemical representatives, soil conservationists, farmers, pesticide dealers and applicators, farm managers, seed company representatives, and anyone else who has an interest in crop-protection issues. For more information about the workshop, please give me a call.
