Next Thursday, August 21, the Department of Crop Sciences and the College of ACES will host the 47th Agronomy Day at the Crop Sciences Research and Education Center (South Farm). The program begins at 7:00 am with field tour wagons leaving the registration area about every 30 minutes. There will be four field tours with five presentations per tour, covering a broad range of agricultural issues. Participants are also encouraged to walk through the tent and visit the many displays that will be located there. There is no admission cost for Agronomy Day. Lunch tickets may be purchased for $5 at the registration desk, and the Field and Furrow Club will be selling refreshments most of the day. If you would like additional information about Agronomy Day, please call Sharon Conatser (217-333-4256) or Aaron Hager (217-333-4424).--Aaron Hager
