Another Reminder to Consider Attending the 2000 Illinois Crop Protection Technology Conference

December 3, 1999
Here is one final reminder to register for the 2000 Illinois Crop Protection Technology Conference to be held at the Illini Union on the University of Illinois campus on January 5 and 6. We printed highlights of the program in last month's issue (no. 24, November 5, 1999) of the Bulletin, and by now, many of you have received the "pocket-sized" program that lists all topics and speakers. We included a preregistration form in last month's issue of the Bulletin; for your convenience, we are providing it again in this issue. You also can register by calling Conferences and Institutes at (217)333-2881, or you can register online through the World Wide Web at

Approximately 9 hours of Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) credits will be offered: integrated pest management (7.2 credits), soil and water management (1.2 credits), crop management (0.7 credit). Highlights of the program provided in last month's issue of the Bulletin give you an idea of the types of topics that will be covered by speakers from different universities, governmental agencies, and the agricultural industry. We believe the program has much to offer those who will attend.

We look forward to seeing you on campus in early January. Here's hoping that the snows will stay away (once again), at least until the conference concludes. See you in 2000!--Kevin Steffey
