Scouting for Western Corn Rootworms Field Days

July 2, 1999
If you are interested in learning more about trapping for western corn rootworms in soybeans, or if you want to get involved in a regional on-farm research project, consider attending a forthcoming field day near you. University of Illinois Extension specialists will conduct three field days to discuss scouting soybean fields for western corn rootworms and current efforts to track the spread of the new biotype of western corn rootworms in Illinois. Dates and general locations of the field days are July 7, Kendall County; July 8, McLean/Livingston County; and July 9, Champaign County. Contact the county Extension offices for exact locations and times of the field days. Preregistration is not required, and there is no cost.--Susan Ratcliffe
