Soybean Rust Identification Short Course Offered in Florida

A short course to teach people how to identify soybean rust is being offered at the University of Florida-North Florida Research and Education Center located in Quincy, Florida, on July 11 and 12. The course is designed with the agricultural specialist or consultant in mind, and the intended audience includes soybean professionals from across the country. Hands-on identification of soybean rust on plants and scouting techniques will be the major concentrations. Registration is free, provided by a grant from the North Central Soybean Research Program, but preregistration is required.
