Recordings of Two Distance Education Short Courses Will Be Available Soon

Two short courses were delivered by distance education technology to people in the north-central states on February 28, on western bean cutworm, and March 6, on biological control of soybean aphids. Experts from throughout the United States presented the programs with PowerPoint slides, and the audio was recorded. An information technology specialist is synchronizing the PowerPoint and audio files, and the entirety of each course will be made available at designated Web sites. We anticipate that the recorded courses will be available in early April, so if you missed either one, you'll be able to participate when it suits your schedule. We also are compiling the various follow-up questions that we could not address during the courses. Questions together with specialists' answers will also be posted to the Web. In a future issue of the Bulletin and through other media, we will let you know when the courses are available.--Kevin Steffey
