Soybean Scouting School

A soybean scouting school will be held at the Gifford State Bank/University of Illinois Extension Soybean Variety Plot on June 24. Suzanne Bissonnette, University of Illinois Extension educator in IPM, will discuss the latest techniques and tools for midseason soybean pest and disease scouting, with emphasis on Asian soybean rust and soybean aphids. The plot is located north of St. Joseph--exit 192 on I-74, then north to the intersection of 2100 North and 2200 East. Lunch will be served.
