Issue No. 21, Article 2/August 13, 2004
Last In-Season Issue of the Bulletin
This issue of the Bulletin is the last in-season issue for 2004. We will publish monthly issues early in the months of September, October, November, and December, then take a collective deep breath to prepare to resume in March 2005. Look for summaries of field research efforts in the remaining 2004 issues of the Bulletin, as well as plenty of announcements of educational events and materials. For those of you who access the Bulletin on the Web, you might be notified of new articles in between printed issues. These "Attention" articles enable us to discuss breaking news and important issues in pest and crop management when the need arises.
As always, we thank you for all of the input and feedback you have provided us this year. Your reports from the fields in your area are extremely valuable to us, and we hope to continue our two-way communication well into the future. As the summer of 2004 draws to a close, we will have the opportunity to review all of the input you have provided to help us develop meaningful, timely educational programs for the forthcoming fall and winter meetings. We hope to see you out and about as we travel to participate in various programs. In the meantime, enjoy the remainder of the cropping season, and let's hope for bountiful harvests.--Kevin Steffey
