Don't Forget to Register for the December AGMasters Conference
If you haven't already checked it off your to-do list, don't wait to get registered for the third AGMasters Conference. Registrations are capped at 160 because of limited classroom space, and they are coming in at a brisk pace. This year's conference is December 5 and 6, again at Champaign's I Hotel and Conference Center. This modern facility, with ample parking, is across the street from the University of Illinois Assembly Hall.
Each of 12 advanced sessions will be offered twice, with 40 students maximum. If you want to interact with instructors and peers in a classroom setting featuring specialized topics pertinent to your operation and business, this conference is designed for you. Continuing education units are available for certified crop advisers (CCA credits), and Indiana Continuing Certification Hours (CCHs) also are offered in Professional Development (2.0), Crop Management (8.0), Integrated Pest Management (16.0), and Nutrient Management (2.0). Registration is $300 through November 18. Online registration closes that day at 5:00, after which you need to call Sandy Osterbur (800-321-1296) regarding any slots that may remain open.
For more information about the AGMasters Conference and how to register, please go to www.cropsciconferences.com and click "Registration" on the left.
The program promises to be filled with many outstanding speakers covering timely topics. I hope to see you there.--Mike Gray
