Corn Disease Management Surveys
During the week of April 12, a survey was mailed to randomly selected corn growers and certified crop advisers in Illinois, Iowa, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The survey is part of collaborative research on corn disease with researchers from the University of Wisconsin, the University of Illinois, Iowa State University, and Ohio State University. The project is funded by the USDA-National Institute for Food and Agriculture, Risk Avoidance and Mitigation Program. The objective is to understand the disease management risks that corn growers face and the tools they use to protect and improve yields. The information provided by completed surveys will help us develop educational materials and tools for corn growers and crop advisers to better manage corn diseases.
If you received the survey, sent by the University of Wisconsin Survey Center, please take the time to fill it out and return it. You may address any questions to Kelly Elver, University of Wisconsin Survey Center (608-262-7360; toll-free 800-291-8624, extension 9762).--Carl A. Bradley
